Muse is a creative writing tool built by Huski. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the cookies that may be set on your device.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. Drafts, projects, and uploads you create inside Muse are stored securely so you can access them across sessions and devices. We do not sell or share any of your personal or project data.

Cookies

Muse uses two categories of cookies:

• Strictly necessary. Sign-in, CSRF protection, and callback-URL cookies set by our authentication provider (Auth.js / NextAuth). These are required for the site to work and are exempt from consent under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. Their exact cookie attributes vary by environment and configuration, but they are used only for authentication and related security flows.
• Optional analytics. With your consent, we may load Google Analytics to understand how Muse is used so we can improve it. These cookies are only set after you click Accept in the consent banner. You can change your choice any time using the button below.

AI processing

Muse sends the text you ask it to analyze to our AI providers for the purpose of returning suggestions. We do not use your writing to train LLM models or AI agents.

Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your account and data at any time from the account settings. For any privacy question, contact us via the Contact Us link in the footer.
